2024 Recital Schedule & Information

Linked below you will find a chart, sorted by class levels, that will provide your assigned portrait day/time, dress rehearsal day, and which show(s) your dancers’ class(es) will perform in, as well as hair, tight/socks and shoe requirements.

Recital Portraits

Recital portraits will take place at the TPDC studio on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6. See the Recital Information Chart to find your dancer’s portrait time(s).

You will need to print and fill out one Portrait Order Form per class/routine that you wish to order photos for. The photographers are happy to collect all order forms at once, at the time of the dancer’s first portrait, with one form of payment. Dancers will not be photographed without payment, so please be sure to bring or send your forms and payment with your dancers and/or their guardians. PAYMENTS: Photographers accept Credit Card and Apple Pay.

Dancers should arrive a minimum of 10-15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to get dressed and touch up hair/makeup. One parent/guardian per family will be permitted to stay and assist their dancer(s) with hair make-up and costumes. Parents/guardians are not allowed to enter the photography space at any time.

Recital Performances

Attention: Recital Parent Helpers

ON THE DAY OF PERFORMANCE, PARENT HELPERS WILL CHECK-IN BACKSTAGE AND RECEIVE A NAME BADGE AND CLASS ROSTER.  EACH PARENT HELPER WILL BE REQUIRED TO REMAIN BACKSTAGE WITH THEIR ASSIGNED CLASS(ES) FOR THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE TO HELP WITH MAKE-UP TOUCH UPS AND BATHROOM BREAKS.  WHEN IT IS TIME FOR A CLASS TO LINE-UP AND GO BACKSTAGE, THE ASSIGNED PARENT HELPER WILL GO BACK WITH THEM, HELP THE TEACHER GET THEM ON STAGE AND THEN WATCH FROM STAGE LEFT TO RETRIEVE THE DANCERS AFTER THEIR PERFORMANCE.  THEY WILL THEN RETURN TO THE HOLDING AREA WITH THEIR CLASS FOR THE REST OF THE PERFORMANCE. 

NOTE:  IF YOUR CHILD IS IN A DIFFERENT CLASS THEN YOU ARE ASSIGNED TO, YOU WILL BE PERMITTED TO GO BACKSTAGE AND WATCH THEIR DANCE, BUT YOU WILL NEED TO ASK A PARENT AT AN ADJACENT TABLE TO KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR ASSIGNED CLASS WHILE YOU ARE GONE.

COLORING ACTIVITIES, WATER AND SNACKS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR DANCERS TO KEEP THEM OCCUPIED WHILE THEY WAIT.  PARENT HELPERS MAY BRING ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AND SNACKS WITH THEM BUT THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES MUST BE FOLLOWED:

• SNACKS MUST BE 100% NUT FREE (PEANUTS AND TREE NUTS)
• SNACKS MUST BE MESS FREE AND WITHOUT A RESIDUE
• WATER IS THE ONLY LIQUID ALLOWED BACKSTAGE.  ABSOLUTELY NO COLORED BEVERAGES
• ACTIVITIES MUST BE SUITABLE FOR AGES 2 AND UP.  NO CHOKING HAZARDS LIKE BEADS, SMALL FIGURINES, ETC.
• ACTIVITIES MUST BE MESS FREE. NO MARKERS, PAINT, PLAYDOE, SLIME, GLITTER, ETC.
